Burch Construction Company was established in 1978 as a general contractor specializing in government projects. In 1985 BCI switched to subcontracting, specializing in Metal Studs, Drywall, Lath, Plaster, Sprayed Fireproofing, Acoustical Ceilings and EIFS systems on government projects. In 1983 BCI received a nomination from the Small Business Administration for General Contractor of the Year. In 1993 and again in 2010, Burch Construction received the Specialty Contractor of the Year award from the San Diego Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America. And in 1995 the Company received the Marvin M. Black Excellence in Partnering Award from the National Associated General Contractors of America. BCI is a member of the San Diego Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America and its President is a former board member. Over the past thirty years Burch Construction Company Inc. has been involved in many large, high profile projects and has earned a reputation of skill, integrity and responsibility.
